LEARMONTH PARK COVERS PROJECT

Newcastle City & Eastern Districts Cricket Club would like to express our sincere gratitude to the NSW Government’s Local Sport Program 2021/22 for its generous funding towards the purchase of a set of cricket wicket covers, hessian and a cricket wicket trolley.

This essential equipment will significantly enhance our club’s ability to maintain and protect the cricket pitches during adverse weather conditions, ensuring a smoother playing experience for our athletes. The support from the Local Sport Program allows us to provide better facilities for both junior and senior players, encouraging increased participation and promoting the development of grassroots cricket in our community.

 This investment not only strengthens our club but also fosters inclusivity, allowing us to continue providing opportunities for players of all skill levels. We look forward to utilizing this equipment in the upcoming season and thank the NSW Government for their ongoing commitment to local sports.
