Newcastle City Women’s side were successful in defeating Waratah at Learmonth Park in the inaugural NDCA Women’s T20 Competition.

Led by Kirsten Smith, and managed by Tom Anderson, the ladies went through the competition undefeated. The final team list as below.

The Inaugural Newcastle District Cricket Association Women's T20 League

This year the NDCA has launched a new Women’s only T20 Competition to be played mid week. 

The first year of the competition will consist of 4 teams; Hamilton-Wickham, Waratah-Mayfiled, Wests and Newcastle City. 

Our team will be captained by Kirsten Smith, who is playing in her 3rd season of NDCA grade, since moving from the Upper Hunter District Cricket competition. 

Kirsten, who is also the Newcastle captain in the NSW Country Regional T20 Big Bash, will be joined by an array of Newcastle City juniors also, with the team being managed by City Life Member, Tom Anderson.
